Fully Automated Luxury Dancing! by Dan Mussett & Yorrith De Bakker

What if a chatbot could make a dance show? We are looking for 2 dancers to join Fully Automated Luxury Dancing!, a performance that tries to answer that question, at c o r s o (Antwerp) on 30th October 2026.

Fully Automated Luxury Dancing! is a dance show that invites 3 different dancers on stage each night. Dancers are asked to wear headphones, to step on stage with little preparation, and to listen to instructions received through the headphones they wear which guide them to perform dance tasks live in front of an audience. Before the show, there is a 2 hour rehearsal, in which dancers will become familiar with the system of sending instructions and in which we will collectively prepare ourselves to perform.

Dancers must:

Be Based in Antwerp, or as near as possible. The show is committed to employing local dancers.
Be available on 30th October 2026.
Have a very good level of English (you will be listening to instructions in English during the show)
Be at least 16 years old.
Have good improvisation skills, a strong stage presence, an openness to throwing yourself into a show with little preparation, and an ability to fake it until you make it ;)

Already existing audition tape, whatever you have lying around, the shorter the better. Don’t make a new one!
Your seniority level regarding the CAO agreements (i.e. how long you have been working professionally)
What makes you want to be a part of this show? (short answer is fi ne, a couple of sentences max, can be as simple as ‘I need a job’)

We welcome applications from all dancers regardless of background. Applicants will be informed by 28th September if they have been selected or not. Dancers will be paid one day of employment based on their seniority level.
